Teacher Recommendations

I have known MJ since his time at South Tattnall Middle School.  MJ has shown a lot of growth since his middle school days.  He is an on-task student who willingly participates in class.  He likes to do well even though English is not his favorite subject.  I appreciate his positive attitude and continued efforts to grow as a writer.  MJ has made improvements throughout this semester because of his work ethic.

I have enjoyed being his teacher, and I feel confident he will be successful in his endeavors as long as he continues to stay focused and put in the work.

I had the pleasure of getting to know MJ Murphy during his 9th‑grade year in my Literature and Composition class. As both his teacher and an avid observer of the TCHS football program, I came to admire his resilience, physical and mental strength, and steadfast refusal to give up. In the classroom, MJ was unafraid to ask for help and responded to feedback with respect and a growth mindset. He persisted until he mastered his work, arrived prepared, and reliably supported his classmates. On the field, his tackles were memorable—often drawing reactions from the stands—and after every hit he gave or took, MJ simply pushed harder. He brings energy and determination to everything he does, and I believe he is bound for a bright future in any endeavor he chooses. I look forward to watching him play this upcoming season. Go Warriors!
