I have known Keyon for three years, including the second year as a student in my World Literature classroom. I have witnessed Keyon's resilience, perseverance, and strong work ethic both on the field and in the classroom. He bounces back quickly from setbacks—whether recovering from a tough loss, a difficult practice, or a personal challenge—and uses those experiences to improve his performance. His perseverance is clear: he stays focused on long-term goals, attends extra conditioning sessions, and practices fundamentals repeatedly until he masters them. 

Academically, Keyon is a hard worker who tackles assignments seriously and seeks help when needed. On and off the field, he is respectful to coaches, teammates, opponents, and school staff, communicates politely, and accepts feedback constructively. Above all, Keyon is a determined athlete and student who is committed to developing as a player, contributing to team goals, and setting a positive example for younger athletes. He is a valuable member of the TCHS football program, bringing character, effort, and leadership to the team.
