Coach Rick Winbigler is the Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach for the Battle Creek Warriors. He is entering his 21st season coaching High School football which includes 7 years as a Head Football Coach. Coach Win began coaching at the age of 19, and has been an offensive and defensive position coach, Defensive Coordinator, Offensive Coordinator, and Head Football Coach at multiple levels in multiple states. He has coached in Ohio, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Georgia. In 2014, Coach Win was blessed to be an assistant coach of the 6AII State Runner Up football team at Lawton High School in Lawton, Oklahoma. Coach has 12 years of teaching experience across multiple subject areas including History, English, Health, Strength Training, and Physical Education from grades 6-12.
Coach Win grew up in Clarkston, Michigan where he attended Clarkston High School and played football and threw the Shotput and Discus. After graduating in 2004, he enrolled at Central Michigan University where he double majored in History and English and received a Bachelor of Science in Education in the spring of 2010. He received a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from the University of West Georgia in 2024.
Coach is married to the beautiful Ashley Winbigler and he has a daughter named Sandra Grace.
