Jonah Mercer Biography

Coach Jonah Mercer will be the Safeties Coach for the Battle Creek Warriors. He is entering his 3rd season of coaching High School football. He has coached both offensive and defensive positions over the last two seasons. He is entering his first year in the school system this fall at Tattnall County High School where he will teach Special Education. 

Coach Mercer graduated from TCHS in 2020, where he played wide receiver and safety for the Warriors. He then enrolled at LaGrange College where he played football for one year. Since then, he has been pursuing his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology (exercise science) at Georgia Southern University. He expects to graduate in the spring of 2024.
