Jonah Mercer Biography

Coach Jonah Mercer will be the Safeties Coach for the Battle Creek Warriors. He is entering his 4th season of coaching High School football. He has coached both offensive and defensive positions over the last three seasons. He is entering his second year in the school system this fall at South Tattnall Middle School where he will teach Weight Training and Physical Education. 

Coach Mercer graduated from TCHS in 2020, where he played wide receiver and safety for the Warriors. He then enrolled at LaGrange College where he played football for one year. Since then, he has been pursuing his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology (exercise science) at Georgia Southern University. He expects to graduate in the spring of 2024.
